Upgrade to the playground at Paddington Recreation Ground

Earlier this year we asked you  what you thought of the playground at Paddington Recreation Ground.

You told us we needed to incorporate a more natural feel to the space, and feature new equipment that offered more inclusive, creative and adventurous play. We have used included this feedback into plans to upgrade the playground and we are really excited to begin the transformation.

These improvements will take place between 8th December to spring 2019 and we anticipate that disruption will be minimal. During this time, the playground area will be completely out of use and hoardings will be installed around the perimeter of the playground. There will also be no access through the path next to the playground to the smaller football pitches. The café and other facilities will be fully operational as usual. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Alternative play areas in our parks can be searched using this website: https://www.westminster.gov.uk/my-parks/search-by-map/index.html

We will continue to keep you updated as the works continue into the New Year. If you have any additional questions, please email the Physical Activity Leisure and Sports team at [email protected].
